Fitment Notes

• Fits AMC / Dana Model 35 rear differential only - 10-bolt cover pattern
• 2007 JK fitment applies to both Rubicon and non-Rubicon models equipped with the Model 35 rear axle only; 2008 and newer JK Wrangler non-Rubicon models use a different axle and require a different cover
• Wrangler TJ Rubicon (2003-2006) uses a Dana 44 rear axle - this cover does not fit Rubicon models 2003 and newer
• Does not fit the Dana 30 front axle - front differential cover is a separate part

The Yukon YHCC-M35 is a Hardcore differential cover built from thick-walled, high-strength nodular iron for the AMC / Dana Model 35 rear axle - one of the most widely used rear differentials across decades of Jeep and AMC vehicles. The stock stamped-steel cover offers minimal protection against trail impacts, and a cracked cover means a day-ending fluid loss. Yukon's nodular iron construction is engineered to absorb hard hits without cracking, while also increasing housing rigidity to reduce deflection under high-torque conditions that can stress gears, bearings, and the carrier.

Beyond impact resistance, the YHCC-M35 features contoured inner surfaces that improve oil circulation for faster cooling, and a magnetic drain plug that collects harmful metallic particles before they can circulate through the gear oil. The durable black powder coat finish and stainless-steel accent plate complete a clean, trail-ready look. Installation is straightforward - all cover bolts are included for a direct bolt-on fit across all Model 35 gear ratio and differential combinations. Note that 2003-2006 TJ Rubicon models use a Dana 44 rear and require a different cover, and 2008+ JK non-Rubicon models transitioned away from the Model 35 rear axle.
