Product Description

The AEM 21-699C is a performance cold air intake system for the 2007-2010 MINI Cooper S, Cooper S Clubman, Cooper S Convertible, and John Cooper Works models equipped with the N14 1.6L turbocharged engine (R55/R56/R57 chassis). The system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing with an oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic air filter, a custom heat shield and replacement air box with a fully opened hood scoop, and a mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube finished in durable gunmetal gray powder coat. The hood scoop design channels cooler outside air directly to the filter for reduced intake air temperatures and increased horsepower.

The oil-free AEM Dryflow synthetic filter media provides outstanding airflow and filtration and can be used for up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is needed depending on driving conditions -- simply wash and reinstall with no re-oiling required. The system is designed, tuned, and dyno-tested specifically for the MINI N14 platform and accommodates the factory mass air flow sensor and emissions control devices. An AEM filter minder gauge is included to monitor filter condition. CARB EO# D-670-21 confirms 50 state legal status for the 2007-2010 Cooper S -- verify legal status for other trims and model years.
