Product Description

The Whiteline KCA390 is a front bump steer and steering precision kit engineered exclusively for Left Hand Drive Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VII, VIII, and IX models. Bump steer occurs when the wheels toe in or out unintentionally during suspension travel - a characteristic that causes vague, inconsistent steering response and increased understeer under hard cornering. This kit corrects that by replacing the OEM steering rack mount bushings with low-compliance synthetic elastomer units and adding special spacers that alter rack geometry to optimize dynamic toe behavior during wheel travel.

The result is sharper turn-in response, increased front grip, and reduced understeer - particularly noticeable during aggressive cornering and track use. Anodized alloy spacers and plated steel hardware deliver excellent corrosion resistance, while the LM-based grease ensures sustained lubrication over the life of the install.
