The Whiteline KDT982 is a rear differential mount bushing kit engineered for the BMW E46 3 Series, E83 X3, and E85/E86/E89 Z4 platforms. OEM differential bushings are designed for comfort and allow a degree of differential movement under load - this flex causes imprecise throttle response, rear-end clunking under hard acceleration, and gradual misalignment of the differential pinion angle. Whiteline's high-grade synthetic elastomer bushings eliminate this unwanted movement while maintaining correct pinion geometry and improving power transfer to the rear wheels.
