Product Description

The Vibrant 2599 is a J-Spec Header Outlet Flange Kit designed to simplify the installation of any exhaust manifold or header with a 2.5 in. diameter outlet. The kit consists of a 304 stainless steel 2-bolt connecting flange with a flared outlet neck and a matching 2.5 in. I.D. donut-style multi-layer graphite gasket. The flared outlet neck provides a positive sealing surface against the mating downpipe or exhaust pipe, and the 3/8 in. thick flange resists the warping that thinner flanges develop under repeated exhaust heat cycling. The 2-bolt configuration is compatible with both OEM and aftermarket spring bolts for fast assembly and repeated serviceability.

The included graphite gasket provides a durable, high-temperature seal between the header outlet and the connecting pipe. Graphite gaskets compress and conform to minor surface irregularities for a more complete seal compared to single-layer metal gaskets. Replacement gaskets are available separately under part number 2599B. Part of Vibrant's J-Spec flange lineup available in additional I.D. sizes. Sold as a complete kit.
