2 in. drop is engineered for standard SBC and LS power applications.
Buick Grand National (V6 Turbo) may require spring trimming due to lower engine weight.
Also suitable for full-weight Big Block applications when a 1/4 in. nose-down rake is desired.
Lightened cars may require spring trimming to achieve intended drop height.

Product Description

The UMI Performance 3051F is a set of front lowering springs engineered specifically for 1978-1988 GM G-Body platforms. Wound from 5160 chrome silicon wire and rated at a linear 600 lb/in, these springs deliver a firm, controlled ride with a significant reduction in body roll and a noticeably lower center of gravity. The 2 in. front drop is calibrated for standard SBC and LS-powered builds, giving the G-Body a purposeful, aggressive stance while dramatically improving handling response for Pro-Tour, Autocross, and street driving.

Developed with input from a NASCAR Sprint Cup chassis engineer, the 3051F installs within the factory front suspension geometry without requiring modifications. Buick Grand National (V6 Turbo) owners should note that spring trimming may be necessary due to the reduced engine weight of the turbocharged six-cylinder. Full-weight Big Block builds can also use these springs when a 1/4 in. nose-down rake is preferred. UMI manufactures these springs in the USA and backs them with a 2-Year Limited Warranty.
