Product Description

The UMI Performance 2647F is a pair of front lowering coil springs designed for the 1970-1981 Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird (2nd generation GM F-Body). These springs are wound from 5160 chrome silicon premium wire and feature a linear 600 lb/in spring rate that is significantly stiffer than stock, providing increased performance with decreased body roll, a lower center of gravity, and a firm yet comfortable ride that eliminates the soft, floating feeling of worn or stock springs. The ride height is engineered for approximately 2 inches of lowering from the factory ride height. Lightened vehicles may sit higher than the target and could require spring trimming to achieve the desired ride height. These springs are suitable for autocross, Pro-Tour, and general street cruising, offering consistent spring rates and reliable performance year after year thanks to the premium chrome silicon wire construction.
