• Direct bolt-on replacement for the factory intercooler - installs in the OEM location using factory mounting points and locating pins. No cutting, trimming, or fabrication required.
• Includes a Turbosmart Kompact EM Recirculating (plumb-back) blow off valve with patented EM Technology for full factory ECU integration - no check engine lights or fault codes. Recirculated compressor bypass gas is returned to the intake tract upstream of the turbo, maintaining factory-like operation without venting to atmosphere.
• The recirculating BOV is the preferred choice for MAF-equipped vehicles, preventing lean air-fuel conditions and throttle hesitation that can occur with VTA valves on mass airflow sensor applications.

It pairs the Turbosmart bar and plate intercooler core - featuring a 75% increase in internal core volume over the factory unit - with a Turbosmart Kompact EM recirculating blow off valve for factory-quiet operation and seamless ECU integration. The recirculating BOV returns compressor bypass gas back into the intake tract rather than venting to atmosphere, making it the recommended choice for MAF-equipped vehicles where a VTA valve could cause lean conditions or throttle hesitation.

The factory intercooler on Ranger Raptor and Bronco EcoBoost models is sized for stock performance and is prone to heat soak under sustained high-load conditions - particularly relevant for these platforms given their off-road duty cycles and sustained high-load trail driving.
