Product Description

The Turbosmart TS-0223-1278 Kompact EM Plumb Back BOV is a direct plug-and-play upgrade for the factory diverter valve on the Ford Fiesta ST, compatible with both the Mk6 1.6L 4-cylinder and Mk7 1.5L 3-cylinder EcoBoost turbo variants. Simply unplug and unbolt the OEM valve and install the Kompact EM in its place - no adapters, reference hoses, or extra solenoids needed. The factory electronic connector plugs directly into the Kompact EM's integrated solenoid, retaining full OEM control with no check engine light.

The Boost-Balance Valve Technology is Turbosmart's core engineering advantage: both sides of the piston are subjected to the same boost pressure during acceleration, meaning the valve stays firmly sealed at all times unless commanded to open - regardless of boost level. The Plumb Back design recirculates all vented pressure back into the intake tract, delivering silent, OEM-style operation ideal for daily-driven builds. For drivers who prefer an audible release, the Dual Port version (TS-0223-1078) vents partially to atmosphere for the characteristic BOV sound.
