The Tuff Country 61262 SX8000 Nitro-Gas Shock is a high-performance shock absorber designed for lifted full-size trucks and SUVs across multiple brands - including Ram, Ford, Toyota, and Jeep. The nitrogen gas charge and twin-tube construction provide better damping, reduced fade under load, and a smoother ride even on rough terrain or while towing.

Built for strength and longevity, it uses a 5/8" piston rod and rugged polyurethane bushings to handle the stresses of lifted and off-road driving. Whether mounted in the front of a lifted Jeep or Ram, or in the rear of a Toyota Tacoma or Tundra, it helps restore proper travel, rebound, and control after installing a lift.
