The Tein VST04-C1SA4-C Flex Z is a complete coilover kit for the 1990-1999 Toyota MR2 (SW20L/SW21L), covering all trim levels and engine variants - from the naturally aspirated 3S-GE and turbocharged 3S-GTE to the naturally aspirated 2.2L 5S-FE. Spring rates are deliberately asymmetric: a softer 224 lbs/in front and stiffer 448 lbs/in rear to match the SW20's mid-engine weight distribution and preserve the precise, rear-biased handling balance that defines the MR2 driving experience. Front camber-adjustable pillowball upper mounts and 16-way damping adjustment complete the package.

Built in Yokohama, Japan with twin-tube construction and Tein's sealed damper structure, the Flex Z is a direct fitment across all SW20 and SW21 variants. EDFC installation requires Motor Kit EDK05-12140, sold separately. Professional installation and wheel alignment are recommended after fitment.
