• Rear ONLY fitment applies to: all 997, 991, 987, 981, and 982 generation 911, Boxster, Cayman, and 718 models
• IMPORTANT: Arms will not work with vehicles equipped with taller hydraulic bushings unless the hydraulic bushings are pressed out of the original control arm and reused in the SPC arm - this applies to certain 997, 981, and 982 models
• Rear suspension fitment excludes vehicles with the Xenon headlamp option on applicable 997-generation 911 models
• Sold as a pair (2 arms) - covers one axle (both left and right sides); purchase two sets for all-four-corner adjustment on front-and-rear compatible models

Product Description

The SPC Performance 72610 is a pair of forged 6061-T6 aluminum adjustable lower control arms engineered for Porsche 911, Boxster, Cayman, and 718 platforms spanning model years 1997 through 2025. The factory lower control arms on these vehicles offer no camber adjustment, which becomes a significant problem when ride height is lowered - even modestly - as the geometry pulls the wheels into excessive negative camber, accelerating inner tire wear and compromising straight-line tracking. The SPC 72610 replaces the stock lower arm entirely and provides up to ±2.0° of camber correction via SPC's sliding ball joint mechanism, which can be adjusted directly on the car without requiring arm removal or specialized machinery.

The standout engineering feature of the 72610 is its greaseable and rebuildable ball joint - the only Porsche lower control arm ball joint on the market that does not require full arm replacement when the joint wears from heavy track use. The ball joint features preset turning torque with user-adjustable preload via a simple retainer - tighten for a firmer feel, loosen for smoother articulation. High-durometer bonded rubber bushings on the chassis mount maintain factory NVH levels, while booted ball joints on the knuckle end protect against dirt and moisture. Fitment varies by generation: the 72610 fits front or rear on the 996-generation 911 (1999-2005) and 986-generation Boxster (1997-2004), while it is rear-only on all 997, 991, 987, 981, and 982 generation vehicles. Owners of 997, 981, and 982 generation vehicles should note that certain trims equipped with taller hydraulic bushings require those bushings to be pressed out of the original control arm and reinstalled into the SPC arm - the arms will not function correctly if the hydraulic bushings are omitted. Additionally, 997-generation 911 vehicles equipped with the Xenon headlamp option are excluded from rear fitment.
