Fitment Notes

Product Description

The SPAL 30103018 is a 4-inch low-profile paddle blade puller electric fan rated at 147 CFM - the puller counterpart to the 30103009 pusher model. Mounting a fan in the puller position (on the engine-side of the cooler core) generally produces more airflow than the same fan in a pusher position, which is why this puller version achieves 147 CFM vs. the pusher's 124 CFM despite using the same motor family. Drawing just 2.2-2.5 amps at 12V and measuring only 1.89 inches in depth, it delivers strong supplemental airflow with minimal space and electrical demand - making it ideal for oil coolers, transmission coolers, heat exchangers, intercoolers, and compact radiator sections in off-road, racing, motorcycle, ATV, and custom performance builds.

The fan features SPAL's IP68-sealed brushed motor - fully waterproof and dustproof - and is individually balanced at the factory for smooth, quiet operation throughout its service life. It pairs directly with SPAL push-in mounting pins (PN# 30130013) or Maradyne M0912T pins for clean, tool-free installation on most cooler cores. A relay wiring harness such as the SPAL FRH or a 185FH/195FH kit with thermoswitch is recommended for proper circuit protection and temperature-controlled fan operation.
