Product Description

The Snow Performance SNO-211-BRD Stage 2.5 Boost Cooler is a complete, universal water-methanol injection system engineered for all turbocharged and supercharged gasoline vehicles. By injecting a precise mixture of water and methanol directly into the intake stream, the system effectively reduces intake air temperatures by up to 100°F, suppresses harmful detonation, and increases the effective octane rating of pump gasoline by as many as 25 points. The result is a safer environment for aggressive tuning - enabling significant increases in boost pressure and ignition timing that translate into 50-70 or more additional horsepower at the wheels. For direct-injected engines, the system carries an added benefit: the water-methanol spray steam-cleans carbon deposits from intake valves, valve seats, and piston tops during normal operation.

At the heart of this kit is the ISO 9001-manufactured VC-50 progressive controller, which monitors manifold boost pressure in real time and proportionally adjusts injection volume across the entire powerband. The controller's dual 7-color OLED display allows the driver to monitor boost, injection percentage, fluid level, and active fault codes at a glance - and the screen color can be customized to match OEM gauges. The system also supports dual independent nozzle staging, giving tuners precise control over water-methanol delivery at both low and high boost levels. The UHO 300 PSI pump is the only OEM-approved water-methanol pump on the market, featuring sealed and potted O-Ring connections to keep moisture out of pump internals and extend service life far beyond sleeve-style competitors.

The SNO-211-BRD is configured for engine bay installation and includes a 2.5-gallon reservoir, stainless steel braided line, 4AN fittings, three Hyper-Sonic nozzles sized from 175 to 625 ml/min, and all wiring and mounting hardware needed for a complete installation on any forced induction vehicle. All wetted components are constructed from 100% methanol-resistant materials - stainless steel, nickel-plated internals, EPDM seals, and hard-anodized fittings - ensuring compatibility with any water-methanol ratio up to 100% methanol. For applications requiring rear or trunk-mounted tank options, Snow Performance offers compatible upgrade tanks under part numbers SNO-40014-BRD and SNO-40012-BRD.
