The Skyjacker N8092 is a Nitro 8000 series twin-tube nitrogen gas-charged front shock absorber engineered for lifted 4WD heavy-duty trucks. It is designed to work with 1-2.5 inch front lifts on the 2003-2013 Dodge/Ram 2500 and 2003-2012 Ram 3500, as well as 4 inch front lifts on the 2011-2016 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty. The Nitro 8000 platform operates on a 150 PSI pressurized nitrogen charge within a twin-tube housing, which prevents fluid aeration and keeps damping force consistent across varying terrain and speed conditions. Multi-stage velocity sensitive valving adjusts the shock's resistance automatically - providing a soft, compliant response over light bumps and a firm, controlled response under hard compressions and high-speed impacts - without any driver input required.
