The Skyjacker B8551 Black MAX 8500 shock is a direct-replacement front shock engineered specifically for 1973-1991 Chevrolet and GMC Suburban 4WD trucks running 2 to 5 inches of front lift. Rather than a generic universal shock, this unit uses vehicle-specific multi-stage StableSteer valving to keep tires in solid, consistent contact with the road across a wide range of driving conditions.
