The Skyjacker B8559 Black MAX Shock Absorber is a versatile hydraulic twin-tube shock engineered for lifted 4WD trucks and SUVs from the 1970s through the 1990s. Featuring advanced foam-cell technology that compensates for internal oil expansion under heat, this shock delivers consistent damping performance whether you're on-road or off-road. Its multi-stage valving, chrome-plated piston rod, and 360° arc-welded mounts provide durability and strength for rugged use and lifted suspensions.

This shock fits a variety of classic vehicles including Ford F-100 (1970-1976), F-150 (1977-1979), F-250 (1977-1979), and F-350 (1979) with appropriate lift heights, as well as the Jeep Wrangler (YJ) from 1987-1996 with 3.5-4" lift.
