The Skyjacker 7298 Hydro 7000 Dual Steering Stabilizer Kit delivers maximum steering control for 2001-2010 GM 3/4-ton and 1-ton trucks, SUVs, and 2003-2009 Hummer H2 vehicles equipped with suspension lifts and oversized tires. Unlike single stabilizer kits, the dual configuration provides double the damping force by mounting two Hydro 7000 stabilizers in parallel between the frame and both tie rod ends. This dramatically improves steering stability, especially on lifted trucks running 35-inch or larger tires where the additional unsprung weight and altered steering geometry can create dangerous handling characteristics. The dual stabilizers work together to eliminate the notorious "death wobble" or shimmy that plagues lifted solid axle trucks, dampen out highway harshness, and restore confident control back into the driver's hands.
