Vehicle Fitment

  • 1980-1998 Ford F-250 - 4WD | Rear | 2-3 in. Lift
  • 1980-1998 Ford F-350 - 4WD | Rear | 2-3 in. Lift
  • 1986-1998 Ford F-350 - 4WD | Front | 3-4 in. Lift
  • Note: SBE304 addresses two distinct sway bar locations on these trucks depending on your lift height - rear links at 2-3 in. of lift, and front links at 3-4 in. of lift (F-350 only for the front application). The set includes two end links; confirm whether your build requires the front, rear, or both positions before ordering.
  • Note: This product is intended for lifted 4WD applications only. It is not a stock-height replacement and should only be installed on vehicles with the specific lift heights listed above.

Features

  • Extended length design restores the factory sway bar angle and geometry after a 2-3 in. rear or 3-4 in. front suspension lift, preventing the binding and restricted travel caused by the factory-length end links on a raised vehicle
  • Manufactured from 4140H chromoly steel - a high-strength alloy chosen for its superior tensile strength and fatigue resistance under the dynamic torsional and compression loads that sway bar end links experience during cornering and articulation
  • Zinc coating provides durable corrosion protection against road spray, salt, mud, and moisture on both F-250 and F-350 platforms that frequently see heavy use and off-road exposure
  • Polyurethane bushings included - providing firmer, more responsive sway bar engagement than OE rubber bushings, with greater resistance to deterioration from oil, heat, and road grime over the long service life of these classic Ford trucks
  • Direct bolt-on fitment using factory sway bar mounting points - no drilling, welding, or modification required on confirmed platforms
  • Maintaining proper sway bar end link geometry preserves the anti-roll function of the sway bar at ride height, ensuring the vehicle handles predictably and safely when cornering with a lifted suspension
  • Sold as a pair - includes two extended end links sufficient for a single axle installation
  • Limited Lifetime Warranty

Product Description

The Skyjacker SBE304 is a pair of extended sway bar end links engineered to restore sway bar geometry on the 1980-1998 Ford F-250 and F-350 4WD after a suspension lift. When a vehicle is lifted, the factory-length end links can no longer maintain the designed connection angle between the sway bar and the control arm or axle, causing the bar to bind at full suspension droop and losing its anti-roll effectiveness. SBE304 corrects this by replacing the factory links with appropriately extended units sized for the specific lift heights involved - 2 to 3 inches of rear lift on both the F-250 (1980-1998) and F-350 (1980-1998), and 3 to 4 inches of front lift on the F-350 (1986-1998).

The links are constructed from 4140H chromoly steel with a zinc coating for corrosion resistance, and include polyurethane bushings that deliver firmer, more durable sway bar engagement than aged OE rubber. Installation is a direct bolt-on to the factory sway bar mounting points - no modification required. Each set contains two end links, sufficient for one axle (front or rear). If your build requires both front and rear end link correction, verify the specific positions your lift height requires on your platform before ordering.

This product is designed for lifted 4WD applications only and is not a stock-height replacement. Oldest confirmed application is 1980 (Ford F-250 4WD). Newest confirmed application is 1998. No 2025 fitment is applicable for this part number.
