Product Description

The Skunk2 305-05-0055 is a Tuner Series Stage 4 camshaft for Honda D15 and D16 SOHC VTEC engines found in 1988-2000 Civics, 1988-1991 CRX, and 1993-1997 del Sol. As the top of Skunk2's Tuner Series lineup, the Stage 4 is engineered for highly modified engines -- both naturally aspirated and turbocharged -- and delivers optimized mid-range and top-end power with a seamless VTEC crossover and no loss in drivability.

The cam profile incorporates Skunk2's Fast Ramp technology (reduced seat timing for increased cylinder pressure, borrowed from Formula One) and AMAX (maximizes area under the lift curve for greater airflow efficiency above 1mm lift). With 254° duration and 12.09mm intake / 11.68mm exhaust lift, a valve spring and retainer upgrade is required, and a Skunk2 adjustable cam gear is strongly recommended for fine-tuning.
