The Rock Slide Engineering BD-SS-300-JT4 is a 3rd Generation power step slider set built specifically for the 2020-2023 Jeep Gladiator JT 4-door, combining a true wheel-to-wheel rock slider with a fully functional electric step rated to support up to 650 lbs. per side. Smart Motor technology eliminates the gas strut found in earlier generations, keeping the step deploying and retracting consistently even in cold and harsh weather, while a built-in sleep mode minimizes battery drainage between uses.

Built from tough 10-gauge, 3/16" laser-cut steel with stainless steel and aluminum internal components to resist rust, this slider is finished in a textured black powdercoat and protects the rocker panels from trail damage. Installation is no-drill, bolting directly to existing factory mounting points using a stand-alone wire harness -- since nothing is spliced into the Jeep's factory wiring, the vehicle's manufacturer warranty is preserved after installation.

An open/close switch keeps the step functional even with the doors removed, a genuine advantage for serious off-roaders who run their Gladiator door-off on the trail. This is a Gladiator JT-specific part, not interchangeable with Rock Slide's separate Wrangler JL step slider (BD-SS-300-JL4). Rubicon owners will need Rock Slide Engineering's additional skid plates (AX-SP-300-JT4, sold separately) to fully protect the step sliders -- Rocker Guards, an LED light kit, and a Door Delete Kit are also available as optional add-ons.
