The Rancho RS55263 RS5000X is a front shock absorber engineered for RWD Chevrolet and GMC full-size trucks and SUVs running at factory ride height. Built around Rancho's patented Cross Tuned Technology, this shock pairs an exclusive rebound valving system with an advanced compression phase to deliver measurably better handling and control whether you're on the highway or navigating rough terrain. The Progressive Engagement Valving is custom-tuned specifically for these GM platforms - at lower speeds and in the early stages of travel, the valving engages gradually to smooth out initial bumps without transmitting harshness into the cab.
