Product Description

The Rancho RS55601 RS5000X Rear Shock Absorber is engineered as a direct replacement rear suspension shock for compact pickups and mid-size trucks from the late 1970s through the 1990s. Designed for stock ride heights or mild lift levels up to 2.0", this shock combines Progressive Engagement Valving with a Tuned Compression Control Valve to provide smoother compression and controlled rebound over varied terrain, improving comfort and handling for everyday driving or light off-road use.

Featuring a nitro-carburized piston rod and enlarged 2¼" shock body for increased fluid capacity, RS55601 helps manage heat and maintain consistent performance under load. The protective boot and rubber bushings reduce noise and vibration while shielding internal components from dirt and debris.
