Fitment Notes

• Front coilover system - sold as a pair (left & right); includes two double adjustable GD501 shocks and two 10 in. tapered pigtail-top springs (10HTSP450)
• 450 lb/in. spring rate - recommended for small block applications with a front axle weight of approximately 1,901-2,000 lbs; for big block or heavier front ends, see GD501-10500A (500 lb/in.) or GD501-10550A (550 lb/in.)
• Bolts in with factory OE stamped steel control arms or QA1 tubular control arms - no cutting or welding required
• Some front applications may require the lower A-arm to be dropped for installation; some control arm shock openings may need to be enlarged to accept the QA1 shock body
• T-Bar type lower mount; shock length measured to center of T-bar loop
• Serviceable and rebuildable by QA1 authorized service centers
• Made in the USA

The QA1 GD501-10450A is a double adjustable front Pro Coil coilover system for 1964-1967 GM A-Body vehicles with small block engines (Chevelle, Malibu, El Camino, Buick Skylark, Oldsmobile 442/Cutlass/F-85, Pontiac GTO/LeMans/Tempest), 1970-1981 GM F-Body (Camaro/Firebird), and 1955-1957 Chevy Full Size. The GD501 shock features independent 18-position compression and rebound knobs - 324 total valving combinations - paired with a 450 lb/in. high-travel tapered pigtail spring for small block applications. The fully threaded billet aluminum body allows on-car ride height adjustment without spring changes, and the system bolts directly into factory or QA1 tubular control arms. 100% dyno tested, serialized, and made in the USA. Sold as a pair.
