Product Description

The QA1 5234 is a pair of bolt-in adjustable lower trailing arms engineered for 1978-1988 GM G-Body and 1982-2002 GM F-Body vehicles. Factory lower trailing arms with rubber bushings are a well-known weak point on these platforms - prone to flex under hard acceleration that causes wheel hop, inconsistent traction, and difficulty fitting larger wheels without rubbing. QA1's adjustable design replaces the factory arms with tubular steel construction, chromoly rod ends on the chassis side, and greaseable polyurethane bushings at the axle end, eliminating bushing bind and deflection for a more controlled and responsive rear suspension.

With up to 1 inch of wheelbase adjustability (19 in. to 20 in. center-to-center), the 5234 allows precise rear axle positioning within the wheel well - ideal for correcting rubbing issues common with larger wheel and tire packages up to 24 inches. The double adjustable linkage makes tuning straightforward without removing the arms from the vehicle. All components arrive powder coated and ready to install with hardware included for a clean bolt-in upgrade. For G-Body applications, pairing with the QA1 52853 rear sway bar is strongly recommended as these arms are not compatible with the factory G-Body rear sway bar.
