The QA1 52854 is a High Clearance front sway bar engineered specifically for 1978-1988 GM G-Body vehicles - including the Monte Carlo, Buick Regal, El Camino, Cutlass Supreme, and Pontiac Grand Prix - running larger 24-inch wheel and tire packages. The standard OEM sway bar on these vehicles contacts the tire during full steering lock when running 24-inch wheels, limiting turning radius and causing rubbing issues. QA1's solution is a bar that is 4 inches narrower than OEM, clearing large wheel packages at full lock without any interference. The design is compatible with both stock OEM front frame rails and notched front frame rails for maximum fitment flexibility.

Built from 1-3/8" hollow 4130 chromoly steel with a 3/16" wall, the bar delivers strong torsional stiffness to reduce front body roll during hard cornering, improving handling balance and driver confidence.
