  • Converts the factory rear coil spring suspension to a fully adjustable coilover system - bolt-in installation, no cutting or welding required
  • Ride height adjustment range: 1/2 in. higher than stock down to 2.25 in. lower than stock
  • Designed for factory 1964-1972 GM A-Body 10-bolt and 12-bolt axle housings - lower shock mount bracket may not work with aftermarket rear end housings; modifications may be required
  • Compatible with factory trailing arms; QA1 recommends pairing with adjustable trailing arms (5248 for 1968-72, or 5249 for 1964-67) for maximum performance and precise pinion angle control
  • 150 lb/in. spring rate is QA1's soft option - recommended for drag racing applications or lighter-than-average A-Body builds; for the medium (street) rate, see RCK52359 (200 lb/in.)
  • For double adjustable version with 170 lb/in. springs, see RCK52337
  • Serviceable and rebuildable by QA1 authorized service centers
  • Made in Lakeville, Minnesota, USA

Features

  • Single adjustable Pro Coil shocks - 18 positions of simultaneous compression and rebound adjustment for easy ride tuning between street comfort and performance handling
  • Fully threaded lightweight billet aluminum shock body allows easy ride height adjustment without changing spring rate
  • 12 in. high-travel coil springs (150 lb/in.) with larger coil spacing - reduces unsprung weight, increases suspension travel, and reacts faster than conventional springs
  • USA-made mounting brackets engineered specifically for the 1964-1972 GM A-Body rear suspension geometry - bolt directly to factory trailing arm and frame mount locations
  • Eyelet-style lower mount on shocks for clean, low-bind mounting
  • Clear anodized aluminum shock body for durability and corrosion resistance
  • 100% dyno tested and serialized at the factory - every shock verified before shipping
  • Limited Lifetime Warranty on single adjustable shocks when registered at QA1
