Product Description

The Prothane 7-143-BL is a complete black polyurethane body mount bushing kit designed for a wide range of 2000-2013 GM full-size SUVs and trucks on the GMT800 and GMT900 platforms. It covers the Chevrolet Tahoe, Suburban, and Avalanche; GMC Yukon, Yukon XL, and Yukon Hybrid; and Cadillac Escalade, Escalade EXT, and Escalade Hybrid - across all trim levels, engine options, and drivetrain configurations in both 2WD and 4WD. The kit replaces every body-to-frame rubber mount from the core support through to the rear of the body, addressing all positions in a single purchase.

Over time, the factory rubber body mounts compress and deteriorate, leading to increased body flex, road shimmy, and the dull knocking or squeaking that signals failed mounts. Prothane's polyurethane is significantly more resistant to deformation, road grime, UV exposure, and temperature extremes than rubber - delivering a firmer, more connected body-to-frame feel without the harshness of solid metal mounts. Mounting bolts are not included and should be inspected and replaced if corroded before installation.
