The Prothane 7-1168 is a front sway bar bushing kit designed for 1999-2006 GM full-size trucks and SUVs equipped with a 1.42 inch (36mm) front stabilizer bar. This includes Chevrolet Silverado 1500/2500/2500 HD/3500, Tahoe, Suburban, and GMC Sierra 1500/2500 HD/3500, Yukon, and Yukon XL across all cab styles, trim levels, and drivetrain configurations. The kit covers both the frame-mounted sway bar bushings and the end link bushings in a single purchase, providing a complete front stabilizer upgrade.

Prothane's polyurethane grips the sway bar more firmly and consistently than factory rubber, reducing the flex that allows the bar to shift under cornering load. The result is less body roll and more predictable handling - particularly noticeable in trucks and SUVs where the high center of gravity makes stabilizer performance especially critical. All mounting hardware, metal sleeves, and Prothane Super Grease are included for a complete installation.
