Fitment Notes

• 5.2L and 5.9L engines only - the 3.9L V6 and 8.0L V10 use a different motor mount profile and are not compatible with this kit
• Fits both 2WD and 4WD configurations
• Available in black (4-510-BL) and red (4-510) - both are the same durometer and performance; black contains a small amount of graphite
• Installation requires removing the OEM rubber and steel sleeve from the existing factory motor mount housings - a shop press is required; the OEM metal housings must be undamaged and reused
• This is a solid polyurethane motor mount replacement - increased engine vibration transmitted to the cab is expected and normal

Product Description

The Prothane 4-510-BL is a solid polyurethane motor mount insert kit for the 1994-2002 Dodge Ram equipped with the 5.2L Magnum V8, 5.9L Magnum V8, or 5.9L Cummins diesel. Rather than filling the voids in a worn rubber mount with loose inserts, Prothane engineered a complete solid polyurethane replacement that presses into the OEM metal mount housings once the factory rubber has been removed. The result is a rigid, zero-slop engine mount that eliminates the delay between throttle input and load movement - making it particularly well-suited to towing, hauling, and high-output diesel builds where engine control and response matter.

Because these are solid mounts, some additional engine vibration will be felt in the cab - this is normal and expected. The OEM metal mount housings must be intact and reused; a shop press is required to remove the old rubber and press in the new inserts.
