Product Description

The Progress Tech 62.1062 is a 19mm rear anti-sway bar engineered specifically for the 2011-2016 Honda CR-Z across all trims - Base, EX, EX-L, and LX. The CR-Z's hybrid sport coupe platform is designed around a balance of efficiency and driving enjoyment, but its factory rear sway bar leaves room for improvement in lateral stability and roll control. The 62.1062 replaces the slim OEM unit with a larger 19mm alloy steel bar and polyurethane bushings, directly reducing rear body lean during cornering, increasing tire contact patch stability, and improving the overall chassis balance - translating the CR-Z's inherent nimbleness into a sharper, more planted driving experience.

Like the CR-Z's sibling bar for the Honda Fit (62.1061), this is a straightforward, fixed-rate non-adjustable design - a direct swap that requires no complex installation procedures, no shim fitting, and no chassis brace work. The OEM end links are reused in the installation. This bar was designed exclusively for the CR-Z platform and should not be substituted with the Honda Fit-specific 62.1061, which shares the same 19mm diameter but has a different geometry. A front-end alignment is recommended following installation to confirm rear suspension geometry is properly set.
