• Fits 2003-2009 4Runner models with 319mm (12.56 in.) front rotors only - does NOT fit models with 338mm (13.31 in.) front rotors, typically found on V8 Sport Edition trims with 17-inch wheels and the Lexus GX470
• To confirm your front rotor size: check the caliper casting code - 13WG / 13WL = 319mm (this kit fits); 13WH = 338mm (this kit does NOT fit)
• All 2003-2009 4Runner and FJ Cruiser trims share the same 312mm rear rotor - rear fitment is universal
• 6-lug bolt pattern (6x139.7mm) - front and rear

The PowerStop K138-36 Z36 Truck & Tow Front & Rear Brake Kit is a purpose-built heavy-duty brake upgrade for the 2003-2009 Toyota 4Runner and 2007-2009 Toyota FJ Cruiser. Where the Z23 kit is engineered for spirited daily driving, the Z36 steps up to handle the added thermal demands of towing trailers, hauling loads, long mountain descents, and lifted trucks - all while maintaining quiet, low-dust performance for everyday use.

The Z36 Carbon-Fiber Ceramic pads deliver a higher friction coefficient than standard ceramic compounds, paired with stainless-steel shims that remain stable at the elevated temperatures generated by heavy-duty use. The drilled and slotted vented rotors at both axles evacuate heat, gas, and moisture for consistent bite across all conditions. Everything ships in one box and installs as a direct bolt-on. Important: this kit is designed for 4Runner models with 319mm front rotors (caliper codes 13WG / 13WL). 4Runner models with 338mm front rotors require a different kit. All 2007-2009 FJ Cruiser trims are compatible.
