Product Description

The Perrin PSP-OIL-203 is a CVT transmission oil cooler kit for the 2022-2025 Subaru WRX Base trim equipped with the Lineartronic CVT. The WRX Base CVT does not come from the factory with a transmission oil cooler, leaving the CVT fluid vulnerable to heat buildup during spirited driving, towing, or track use - conditions that accelerate fluid degradation and wear on the transmission's internal components. The Perrin kit adds a 9.5" x 4.75" x 2.2" bar-and-plate cooler core that keeps CVT oil temperatures 30-40°F lower than without a cooler, maintaining fluid viscosity and protecting the transmission under sustained load.

The high-efficiency bar-and-plate core design resists road debris damage far better than tube-and-fin alternatives, with a minimal 1 PSI pressure drop that ensures full fluid flow to the transmission at all times. Custom 304 stainless steel brackets mount cleanly to the front of the vehicle without drilling or permanent modifications.
