Product Description

The Ohlins BMS MI40S1 is a Road & Track coilover system built specifically for the 2007-2013 BMW M3 (E9x) across all body styles -- Sedan (E90), Touring (E91), Coupe (E92), and Convertible (E93). The front uses an inverted McPherson strut with independent ride height and spring preload adjusters and a 60 N/mm spring rate. The rear runs a conventional shock with a divorced spring setup allowing independent shock length and spring preload adjustment at 120 N/mm. Both axles use Ohlins' patented DFV single-knob adjuster for simultaneous compression and rebound control. OEM top mounts are retained at both ends, and ride height is adjustable 5-35mm below OE at both axles.

Vehicles equipped with optional factory EDC (Electronic Damper Control) require the separate Ohlins cancellation kit 35020-04 to suppress dash warning lights after installation. The kit is TUV certified, fully rebuildable, ISO 9227 corrosion tested, and backed by Ohlins' 2-year limited warranty.
