It directly replaces Honda OEM part 12290-R40-A01 and covers the Accord 2.4L I4, CR-V, Civic Si/EX/Hybrid, Crosstour, and multiple Acura platforms including the TL SH-AWD, TSX, MDX, RL, ZDX, and ILX. The 12mm thread size - smaller than the standard 14mm - is specific to Honda's compact cylinder head design on these platforms and must be confirmed before ordering.

Two critical fitment notes: the Honda Accord application covers the 2.4L I4 only (not the V6), and the Acura TL application covers the SH-AWD variant only (not the standard FWD TL).
