The NGK NTK 24325 is an OE-identical 5-wire wideband air/fuel ratio sensor manufactured in Germany to factory specifications, covering an extensive range of vehicles from Audi, Chevrolet, Genesis, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Mini, Pontiac, Porsche, and Saturn. Unlike conventional narrowband oxygen sensors that only toggle rich or lean, this wideband planar sensor generates a precise, continuous linear output that tells the ECU exactly how far the air/fuel mixture is from stoichiometric at any moment - enabling far more accurate fuel trims, cleaner combustion, improved fuel economy, and reduced emissions. When a wideband sensor fails or degrades, the ECU loses this precision and falls back on less accurate correction strategies, resulting in rough running, decreased mileage, and potential catalyst damage.

NTK is the world's largest manufacturer of OEM oxygen sensors, and the 24325 is engineered to the same standard as the part that left the factory on these vehicles. The planar zirconia ceramic sensing element is covered by a 3-stage contaminant-resistant plasma jet and deposit trap overcoat that protects against the silicone and lead contamination that prematurely kills lesser sensors. The dual-coated platinum interface and thin flat sensing tip heat up faster and respond more quickly than thimble-type designs - critical for accurate closed-loop fuel control from the first moments of engine operation.
