The Mishimoto MMAI-MIA-16WRD Performance Air Intake is a direct-fit cold-air intake system engineered specifically for the 2016-2025 Mazda MX-5 Miata ND platform. It replaces the restrictive factory airbox with a mandrel-bent aluminum intake pipe finished in a bold wrinkle red powder coat, paired with a powder-coated aluminum airbox that doubles as a heat shield between the filter and the exhaust manifold. The result is a cleaner path for induction air, reduced heat soak, and a measurable gain in horsepower and torque - up to 14 whp and 14 wtq on a stock tune with safe air/fuel ratios maintained.
