Fitment Notes

• This is a universal fan. It does not include vehicle-specific wiring harnesses, relays, or mounting hardware designed for any particular vehicle platform.
• For simplified universal mounting, Mishimoto recommends pairing this fan with the Mishimoto Electric Fan Mounting Kit (P/N: MMFAN-MOUNT), sold separately.
• Fan is optimized for puller (suction/pull-through) airflow from factory. Reversing polarity enables pusher functionality, but Mishimoto notes this may limit performance compared to the original pull configuration; long-term effects of sustained pusher operation are uncertain.

The Mishimoto MMFAN-16C is a universal 16-inch curved blade electric radiator fan engineered to deliver high-volume airflow in a slim, lightweight package. At 1,860 CFM and 1,800 RPM, it provides substantially more airflow than many comparably sized electric fans, making it well-suited for performance builds, classic car cooling upgrades, and any application where the factory fan is insufficient or incompatible with aftermarket radiators, intercoolers, or engine bay layouts. The eight curved blades are aerodynamically optimized to maximize airflow efficiency per revolution, reducing motor load and acoustic output while maintaining peak cooling performance. With an overall depth of just 2.87 inches, the fan can be mounted flush against a radiator or intercooler core without compromising engine bay clearance - an important advantage in tight engine bay configurations.

The fan is designed and optimized as a puller unit, meaning it is intended to be mounted on the engine side of the radiator to draw air through the core from front to back. This configuration is the most thermally efficient placement, as the fan draws air evenly across the full face of the core and exhausts it rearward through the engine bay.
