Product Description

The MBRP S6005SLM is a 4-inch downpipe-back exhaust system with muffler delete for the 2001-2004 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500 HD/3500 equipped with the 6.6L Duramax LB7 diesel in Extended Cab and Crew Cab configurations. The SLM series replaces the factory muffler with an MBRP muffler delete pipe to provide the ultimate in free-flowing exhaust -- delivering the most aggressive sound in MBRP's lineup while dropping exhaust gas temperatures by up to 200°F and improving fuel economy by 1-2 MPG. The fully mandrel-bent 4-inch tubing with minimal bend degree angles gets hot exhaust out fast, reducing backpressure and setting the stage for maximum performance from cold air intakes, programmers, and tuners.

Constructed from 16-gauge T409 stainless steel with fully sealed seams to resist penetrating rust, the Armor Plus series delivers premium durability at a value price point. The two-piece tailpipe design adds both style and performance. No exhaust tip is included, allowing customization with any tip that fits the 4-inch pipe diameter. Everything is direct-fit to the OEM hangers for a bolt-on, no-weld installation in approximately 1.5-2 hours with all clamps and hardware included in the box.
