The Kooks GE-90150 is a High Output (H.O.) GREENCATS universal high-flow catalytic converter built for performance exhaust systems using 3.0 in. diameter piping. It is sold as a single converter - two units are required for dual exhaust V8 applications. The H.O. designation identifies this as Kooks' higher-tier Green Cat, loaded with a greater concentration of precious metals than the standard Green Cat. This enhanced coating enables the proper catalytic reaction in higher-horsepower engines and forced induction applications - including supercharged and turbocharged builds - while also improving the substrate's resistance to the elevated exhaust temperatures those applications generate. The 300 CPSI (cells per square inch) high-flow monolith substrate is significantly less restrictive than OEM-density catalysts and supports up to 500 HP per converter, or 1,000 HP per pair, with full EPA certification for street use in 49 states.
