Product Description

The KONI 8250-1026 is a STR.T series rear shock absorber for 2006-2013 BMW 1 Series (E82/E88) and 3 Series (E90/E91/E92/E93) RWD models excluding M3 and 1M. The STR.T line is KONI's entry-level performance shock, featuring non-adjustable fixed-rate sport damping that is factory-tuned specifically for each vehicle application. Built on a twin-tube low pressure gas charged design, this rear shock delivers improved road holding, reduced body roll, and a more direct steering feel compared to stock dampers. It is engineered as a direct bolt-in replacement for the OE rear shock and is compatible with factory springs at stock ride height as well as aftermarket lowering springs with drops up to 40mm. The STR.T is an ideal choice for refreshing worn factory dampers with a sport-oriented upgrade or for pairing with a lowering spring kit for a complete handling improvement. Vehicles equipped with the BMW M-Technik or M-Sport suspension are also compatible. This shock is sold individually -- two are required for the rear axle. The matching front struts are KONI 8750-1084L (left) and 8750-1084R (right). Backed by KONI's lifetime limited warranty to the original purchaser for the life of the vehicle.
