Fitment Notes

• Front left (driver side) strut shock insert - this is a left-side-specific unit. The companion right-side (passenger) unit is KONI 8050-1035R. Two front units (one left, one right) are required for a complete front axle replacement.
• Fits the fourth-generation (1990-1993) and fifth-generation (1994-1997) Honda Accord on the CD platform, as well as the first-generation Acura CL (1997-1999) which shares the same front suspension architecture.
• Covers all trim levels of the 1990-1997 Accord (DX, LX, SE, EX) and both Coupe and Sedan body styles. All supported models use the 2.2L four-cylinder engine - the V6-powered Accord was not introduced until the 1998 model year.
• Does not fit the 1998-2002 Honda Accord (6th generation) - that generation requires KONI 8050-1036. Does not fit the Acura CL 3.0 (YA3; V6 3.0L), which uses a different front strut configuration.
• This shock is non-adjustable. The damping rate is fixed at the factory-optimized STR.T specification and cannot be changed. No adjustment procedure is required or possible.
• Compatible with OEM spring rates and performance lowering springs. The STR.T is specifically designed to complement lowering springs shorter than the original without the need for adjustment.
• Sold per shock - one unit only (left/driver side). The companion right front is KONI 8050-1035R.

The KONI 8050-1035L is the front left (driver side) strut shock insert from KONI's STR.T 8050 Series, engineered for the 1990-1997 Honda Accord (CD platform, all trims and body styles) and the 1997-1999 Acura CL 2.2 (YA1 platform). The STR.T - pronounced "Street" - is KONI's entry-level performance shock line, offering improved handling, reduced body roll, and better road contact compared to worn OEM units, at a price point accessible to the budget-conscious driving enthusiast. Unlike the adjustable Sport (yellow) series, the STR.T uses fixed-rate, factory-optimized damping that requires no setup after installation: the damping level is pre-set to KONI's specification for this application and delivers consistent, predictable performance straight out of the box.
