Product Description

The JE Pistons 367877 Ultra Series piston kit is engineered for the BMW N54 3.0L I6 engine, covering models such as the 335i, 135i, 740i, and Z4 sDrive35i. Crafted from high-strength forged 2618 aluminum alloy, these pistons are designed to withstand the extreme cylinder pressures associated with high-performance and forced induction applications.

Featuring JE's proprietary Aligned Grain Flow (AGF) forging technology, the pistons offer enhanced tensile strength, making them ideal for builds with power adders. The thermal barrier crown coating reflects heat into the combustion chamber, reducing piston crown temperatures and improving exhaust gas scavenging. Additionally, the skirt coating minimizes friction and wear, while the lateral gas ports maintain ring seal at high RPMs.

The pistons are designed for an 84.00 mm bore and a compression ratio of approximately 9.5:1 when used with the stock 89.6 mm stroke. Installation requires professional engine machining and internal assembly due to the high-performance nature of the kit. Please note that piston rings are not included and must be purchased separately.
