Product Description

The JBA 1683S is a pair of Cat4Ward shorty headers for the 2015-2022 Ford F-150 with the 5.0L Coyote V8. Built from mandrel-bent 409 stainless steel with 1-3/4" primary tubes and 2-1/2" collectors, these headers replace the restrictive factory exhaust manifolds for meaningful gains in horsepower and torque across the RPM range. JBA's proprietary Firecone collector smooths the transition from primary tubes into the collector, maintaining exhaust velocity and maximizing scavenging efficiency.

The 3/8" machined flanges resist warping and deliver a leak-free seal, while the Cat4Ward design retains factory-style emission connections for a straightforward installation. CARB Executive Order D-57-40 / D-57-45 makes these headers 50-state legal for 2015-2018 F-150 5.0L applications. The 2019-2022 F-150 5.0L fitment is not CARB approved and is not legal for use on emissions-controlled vehicles in California. Available in silver ceramic (1683SJS) and titanium ceramic (1683SJT) coatings for increased corrosion protection and underhood thermal management.
