Fitment Notes

• Compatible with first-generation Polaris Slingshot models equipped with the 2.4L GM Ecotec four-cylinder engine only. Does not fit the 2020+ Slingshot, which was redesigned with Polaris's own 2.0L ProStar engine - see Injen PS7001P for that generation.
• No tune required. The PS7000P is engineered to maintain safe air/fuel ratios throughout the powerband using Injen's patented MR (MegaRam) Technology and the stock ECU calibration.
• Not currently CARB exempt. Not legal for sale or use on vehicles registered in the following states: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, New Jersey, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, or Washington.
• The PS7000 series is also available in laser black (PS7000BLK) and wrinkle red (PS7000WR) finishes. All three share identical fitment and performance specifications.

The Injen PS7000P is a PS Series (Powersport) short ram intake system engineered specifically for the first-generation 2015-2019 Polaris Slingshot with the 2.4L GM Ecotec four-cylinder engine. It delivers dyno-proven gains of up to 12 horsepower and 10 lb-ft of torque with no tune required, and represents the best-selling intake system for the Gen 1 Slingshot platform. The PS7000P is the polished mirror-finish version; the same system is also available in laser black (PS7000BLK) and wrinkle red (PS7000WR) for owners who want a finish that matches or contrasts their Slingshot's color scheme.

The Polaris Slingshot's open three-wheel powertrain layout is unique among the vehicles Injen designs for - because the engine and intake are exposed to the elements and visible to anyone near the vehicle, both the performance and the appearance of an intake upgrade are immediately and constantly on display in ways that simply don't apply to an enclosed car or truck. Injen addressed both dimensions of this with the PS7000P: the polished mirror tube is prominently visible in the Slingshot's compact powertrain bay, and the box-style heat shield protects the filter from radiated engine heat in a powertrain environment where thermal management is more challenging than in a conventional enclosed engine bay. The MR Technology geometry built into the aluminum tube's internal profile is specifically dyno-tuned for the 2.4L Ecotec's airflow resonance - it's not a generic tube adapted from another application but a purpose-engineered intake designed and validated by the same Injen team that built the Gen 2 PS7001 system for the newer 2.0L ProStar Slingshot.
