Product Description

The Husky Liners 2842004 Aeroskin is a low-profile smoke hood protector custom-molded for 2009-2018 Ram 1500 and 2019-2024 Ram 1500 Classic trucks (excludes Sport and Rebel hood styles). Built from impact-modified DuraGard acrylic with a dark smoke tint, it sits tight against the hood's contours for a sleek, aerodynamic appearance that looks factory-installed. The Aeroskin deflects rocks, bugs, sand, and road debris while covering existing chips and preventing further paint damage.

Installation requires no drilling or special tools -- the protector mounts using pre-applied 3M automotive-grade adhesive tape for a secure, vibration-free bond. Husky Liners pioneered hood protection in 1935, and the Aeroskin remains the best-selling low-profile hood shield on the market. Sport-hood Ram 1500 trucks require the dedicated 2842112 instead. A chrome finish is available as 2892004, matte black as 2877004, and the raised-profile Aeroskin II as 2830004. Proudly manufactured in Georgia, USA. Limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing and material defects.
