Fitment Notes

• This damper is for the standard Nissan Titan (A61) ONLY - does NOT fit the Nissan Titan XD. The Titan XD uses a different, heavier-duty chassis shared with Nissan's commercial vehicle line and requires separate fitment.
• Damper mounts behind the sway bar bushing brackets at the front and rear of the vehicle. No suspension disassembly required.
• Compatible with both RWD and 4WD Titan variants. Compatible with stock and aftermarket suspension setups including lifted configurations.
• Benefits are particularly noticeable in Titan trucks equipped with mud terrain (M/T) tires, which transmit significantly more micro-vibration through the frame than street tires.

The HKS 83003-KN001 is the Yamaha Performance Damper® kit for the 2016-2024 Nissan Titan (standard, non-XD), tuned by HKS specifically for the second-generation A61 platform. This is a frame-mounted chassis micro-vibration damper - not a suspension shock or coilover - and it targets the high-frequency micro-vibrations that travel through the truck's body-on-frame structure from road surface input, tire feedback, and structural flex. By absorbing these minute forces at the frame level, it reduces in-cabin NVH, improves interior quietness, and delivers a more connected, refined driving feel without altering ride height or suspension travel.

The performance benefit is especially pronounced in Titan trucks running mud terrain tires, which generate significantly higher frame-transmitted vibrations than standard highway rubber.
