Fitment Notes

• FACTORY CONTACT OVERLOAD SPRINGS - CRITICAL NOTE for all listed vehicles: On vehicles equipped with factory contact overload springs, those springs must be removed before installing the 61901, or an alternative Hellwig Contact Overload Helper Spring Kit must be used instead. Applicable contact overload helper kits include:
  • Hellwig #9703 - for Ford F-250/F-350 Super Duty applications with factory overload contact springs
  • Hellwig #9705 - for Dodge/Ram 2500 and 3500 applications with factory overload contact springs
  Removal of factory contact overload springs may require U-bolt and center bolt replacement. Verify your specific truck's spring configuration before ordering.
• 2008-2010 Ford F-250 Super Duty (2WD only) and Dodge Ram 1500 (certain configurations): Some 2WD F-250 and Ram 1500 configurations require a factory base leaf of 43 inches or longer for the 61901 to fit correctly. If your 2WD Ford F-250 or Ram 1500 has a base leaf shorter than 43 inches, this kit will not fit. Verify your base leaf length before ordering on these specific vehicles.
• Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty (2008-2010): Confirmed for SRW (single rear wheel) configurations only. Dually/DRW F-350 is NOT confirmed for this part number.
• Ram 3500 (2011-2026): Confirmed across all generations (3rd gen 2011-2018 and 4th gen 2019-2026) and all cab styles. Remains confirmed through 2026 on Hellwig's current product page.
• All mounting hardware and Silent Support System (SSS) polyurethane Silent Ride blocks are included in the kit - no separate mounting hardware kit is required. One kit serves both sides of the vehicle.

The Hellwig 61901 Silent Support System Pro Series Helper Spring is Hellwig's premium-tier load management solution for 2003-2010 Dodge Ram 2500/3500, 2008-2010 Ford F-250/F-350 Super Duty (SRW), 2011-2012 Ram 2500, and 2011-2026 Ram 3500 - delivering up to 2,500 lbs. of supplemental rear load capacity with the refined noise isolation of Hellwig's patented SSS (Silent Support System) Pro Series design. The defining feature of the 61901 is its Silent Ride polyurethane stability blocks - custom-engineered polymer isolators that apply tension to the U-bolts while providing a physical buffer between the helper spring leaves and the factory leaf pack.
