Fitment Notes

• Does not fit Gen 1 (2011-2014) or Gen 2 (2015-2017) Mustang or F-150 Coyote engines - head dimensions differ.
• A valve job must be performed prior to installation due to the 45° valve seat contact angle, which differs from the OEM 40° design.
• Not recommended to reuse existing valve locks/keepers in performance applications due to potential material grooving.

Product Description

The GSC Power Division 2163-8 is a set of eight +1mm oversized chrome polished exhaust valves engineered specifically for the Ford 5.0L Coyote Gen 3 and Gen 4 engines. With a 33mm head diameter - one millimeter larger than the OEM 32mm exhaust valve - these valves improve exhaust scavenging efficiency, reduce restriction at the exhaust port, and support higher sustained RPM operation. The chrome polished surface helps resist carbon deposits and withstand the elevated temperatures typical of the exhaust side of the combustion chamber.

Each valve features a micro-polished stem to reduce oil drag in the guide, a stellite-tipped or hardened tip for long-term durability against rocker arm contact, and a back-cut head profile for superior airflow characteristics. The keeper groove is precisely balanced to work in harmony with GSC's valve spring and retainer kits, minimizing setup complexity during a head build. Because these valves use a 45° valve seat contact angle versus the OEM 40° spec, a valve job is required to re-cut the seats before installation - a standard step in any performance head build.
