The GrimmSpeed GRM125022 gives owners of GrimmSpeed 3" intake systems - and other 3" cone filter setups - a dry-element alternative to the oiled filter that ships standard with most intake kits. Built to identical dimensions as GrimmSpeed's oiled filters, it drops in as a direct swap with no fitment concerns, while eliminating the oil-related mess and MAF-sensor contamination risk that can come with over-oiled foam filters.

Because dry flow media is inherently a bit more restrictive than oiled media, GrimmSpeed notes that peak performance numbers may differ slightly from the oiled version - but for everyday driving and spirited use, the difference is negligible for most owners. With an integrated velocity stack for smoother airflow and made entirely in the USA, this filter is a clean, low-maintenance option for WRX, STI, BRZ, FR-S, and Legacy GT owners running a compatible 3" intake.
